The Harold Jazz Workshop Inc. Annual Trilogy Concerts Series:

We Encourage the Families to come out and Enjoy these Performances of National and International Music Artisan being brought into Our Community. The Jazz Workshop Inc. shall continue the work within the region, and with Your participation and Ever Lasting Support, together,We shall move Harmoniously within the Arts.


Jazz on the Steps
Is a family friendly concert series that is held on Wednesday thru the summer months of June and July from 5:30-7PM.  Top musicians from Pittsburgh and other cities give live performances right on the front steps of the
Carnegie Library in Homewood.  Patrons bring their lawn chairs, friends, family, even their four-legged family members to enjoy the outdoor musical festivities.  When it rains, the concert is taken indoors to Children’s’ Department
on the 1st floor of the library.


Jazz, Jam, & Poetry: 
Held the last Saturday of each month from 7-10 PM , this program is an open-mic forum that offers live jazz and give the opportunity for musicians, poets, singers,
as well as other artist to showcase their talents. 
Participants enjoy a coffee house type atmosphere,
while enjoying the expression of art through live music and the spoken word. 


Musician’s Club
Happening every Tuesday 1 PM-3 PM.  This programs offers a gathering place for musicians to fellowship and work on music together while older musicians to come out and enjoy themselves and return back home at a safe hour. 
 Also document stories to be handed down to upcoming musicians. 
Open house, Open mind in a hip atmosphere. 


Outreach Programming
Professional musicians come together with the community
and throughout Allegheny County to assist with music education and entertainment in after school programs, residencies, assemblies, senior citizen centers, as well as,
select Pittsburgh housing projects where the musicians work with children,
teaching them to embrace music through movement,
vocal and hands-on-experience using percussion instruments.

The Harold Jazz Workshop Inc. is sponsoring its 2nd Annual Trilogy Concerts Series, Featuring 3 great performances for the 2016 Spring season.
